The MIST-22®V, is an integrally suppressed barrel designed by GEMTECH® specifically for the Smith & Wesson® SW22 Victory® series of pistols.
Since its introduction, the SW22 Victory has established itself as an easy-to-use .22 LR target pistol. It’s offered in many variations with carbon fiber, fluted & threaded barrels, custom muzzle brakes, optics ready rails, and fiber optic sights. What remains constant across all the variants is the stainless-steel frame construction with match-grade quality and accuracy.
Whether you’re looking to introduce someone new to shooting, are a competition shooter yourself, or just want a fun day plinking at the range, the SW22 Victory in any configuration is a superb option and a pleasure to shoot.
How could we make the SW22 Victory even more fun and easy to shoot? Glad you asked! Suppressing it, of course!
The issue you’d typically run into when adding a muzzle-mounted suppressor to your Victory, and any firearm, is the additional length on the end of the barrel. Your barrel goes from 5.5” long to 10.5” long or greater. This can make the firearm front heavy, making it feel unfamiliar and creating issues with your point of aim.
That’s where GEMTECH®’s new integrally suppressed barrel, the Mist-22®V, steps in. The Mist-22®V replaces the standard barrel on your Victory pistol with one barrel and suppressor combination, designed to provide superb suppression in a streamlined package.
Mist-22®V is comprised of four main parts: a 3” barrel and G-Core®, contained within a tube and held tight with an endcap. It measures in at 8.95”, only adding about 3.5” in length to your Victory. It’s light weight of only 10.9oz effortlessly balances out the added length, and is easy to install, only replacing two screws.
When it comes down to it, the Mist-22®V will deliver subsonic performance to any 22LR ammo with a velocity of 1,600 feet per second or less, won’t affect the accuracy of your Victory pistol, and it is extremely durable & easy to clean.
