This course is designed for Smith & Wesson duty-type revolvers. It will focus on inspection, disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair techniques, fitting of new parts, and reassembly. The past and present designs will be covered. Lessons will be performed on past designs first to expose the Armorer to revolver function, and then present designs and repair techniques will be covered in depth to ensure confidence in revolver repair and maintenance.
This course does not include J frame double action only revolvers.
For students attending armorers courses from outside the United States, you will require a DSP5 form completed by the Smith & Wesson Academy. Please allow at least 6 weeks for processing prior to course attendance.
