General Match Information
Limited Edition Firearm:
To commemorate this inaugural event, we are excited to offer a limited number of specially engraved firearms. These firearms will be offered for a limited time from February 4th through close of ceremonies at the Saturday night awards ceremony. Orders will be processed on a first come first served basis. Please see the flyer posted below for more details. Remember - there will be a limited number available so don’t miss out on this exclusive offer!
Match Info:
The entry fee for this year's match will be $150. This includes a commemorative long sleeve t-shirt, a commemorative coin, discount coupons to area restaurants, sponsor information, entry into special events, tours, seminars and random door prizes. You may use any official mail carrier (UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service, DHL etc.) Hand deliveries will NOT be accepted! Cancellation fee is $25. There will be no refunds after January 24, 2008. You will receive a confirmation letter if you have been accepted with additional match information. All other competitors will be placed on the waiting list the order in which their entries were received. Registration:
Wednesday: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Thursday: 6:00 am to 8:30 am, 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Friday 6:00 am to 8:30 am, 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Saturday 6:00 am to 7:30 am.
Shooter's Meeting:
Shooter's meeting will take place at 7:30 am and 12:30 pm sharp for the morning and afternoon squads respectively.

Stage Viewing:
IMPORTANT: Competitors will NOT be allowed to view the stages before their designated shoot time! Any competitor (including members of the press) found on the stages prior to their squadded time will receive an FTDR penalty and match disqualification for repeat offenses.
Spectator Policy:
In order to present a fair opportunity to all competitors, spectators will not be allowed on the ranges or beyond the double doors at any time. If you plan to bring a guest to the match, they may use the lounge area of the Smith & Wesson Retail Store, but they will not be allowed on the range with you. The only exception will be for junior competitors if their guardian is not competing in the match.
Match Hotel:
The match hotel is the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in West Springfield, MA (same location as previous years). There will be a block of rooms during the competition. Please call 413-781-8750 and ask for the "Smith & Wesson Winter Championships" rate of $64.00/night plus tax. Please be sure to make your hotel reservations by Monday, January 21, 2008 in order to ensure the special rate.
Meals:
Competitors will be issued discount coupons to local area restaurants. Water, coffee and snacks will be available near the vendor area before the shooters meetings.
Area Attractions:
Competitors and their families can also visit area attractions during their stay in Springfield. Visit and walk the historic grounds of the Springfield Armory National Historic Site. The Museum, gift shop, and the extraordinary collections in the Main Arsenal Building are open seven days a week 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
