others are judged. Forging Our process capabilities run from small parts that weigh only a few ounces to 20 lb. parts. Components with lengths of 15 inches are within our scope, utilizing Drop Hammers ranging in size from 1,500 lbs. to 5,000 lbs. A 1,500 ton Press is used to handle Aluminum and Scandium requirements. We have a variety of mechanical presses for cold and hot trimming. Small lot quantities are a specialty. Send your requests for our review and immediate response. Materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Aluminum and Scandium. Heat Treating We offer a variety of controlled quenching atmosphere processes such as: Oil Nitrogen Vacuum Salt Water Our inspection area is able to verify hardness requirements but our in-house, full Metallurgical Laboratory will verify more critical perimeters, whether it is superficial hardness testing to tensile testing. Our staff Metallurgist can help review your heat-treating inquires and offer solutions to your needs. Capabilities: Annealing, Hardening, Austempering, Normalizing, Aging, Bright Hardening, Cryogenic Freezing, Precipitation Hardening, Brazing, Carburizing, Case Hardening, Bright Annealing and Stress Relieving. Plating and Finishing In addition to our world-class metal plating capabilities, we offer a variety of metal finishing processes ranging from polishing, buffing, and sandblasting to isotropic vibratory finishing of a variety of base metals. Parts up to 60 inches in length can be processed. Capabilities: Black Oxide to Mil-C-13924C, AMS 2485F, Passivate for Stainless Steels to Mil-P-35, QQ-P-35C, Electrolytic Nickel Plating to QQ-M-290A, Electroless Nickel Plating to Mil-C-26074, AMS 2404C, Anodizing of Aluminum to Mil-A-8625, AMS 2471C in Black, Clear, Red, Blue and gold, Chemical Brightening, Chromate Conversion Coatings to Mil-C-5541E, Mil-C-E1706, Stripping and Ultrasonic Cleaning.
